About Wendy

Wendy always thought she lived a charmed life… until she didn’t. As her life turned upside down she had to relearn what she’d always believed, that God works all things together for the good … even when it didn’t appear true. He became her anchor in a storm out of her control and brought her peace as she prayed and formed quotes in her mind. These encouraging messages comforted her and became Wendy’s wish of hope for everyone who suffers. Today, Wendy testifies that God does bring beauty from ashes as she lives in a restored marriage and good health. She knows not all stories have happy endings, but, she firmly believes that God offers strength and peace through trials, and hope beyond the grave. Wendy’s foundation in God’s Word and background as a Women’s Pastor, Writer, and Biblical Counselor have given her a faith-filled foundation for communicating these timeless messages of hope. Today, she lives in the Pacific Northwest with her family and enjoys helping women in her business, Hope’s Rising, a Christ-centered ministry offering support for life’s challenges. Wendy’s favorite activities include: journaling, taking walks, soaking in the sunshine, sipping iced coffees, diving into deep conversations, painting, golfing, writing, and cooking delicious meals for her family to enjoy around the table. Wendy’s unexpected delight in life is living a story she would never have written while seeing a miraculous God write it better.
